Sensor Error Log
IntelliCenter maintains a log of sensor errors. Access this through:
- Go to Settings
- Select Diagnostics
- View Sensor Error Log
Clearing Alerts
Most alerts clear automatically when the underlying condition is resolved. For persistent alerts:
- Resolve the root cause
- Some equipment requires manual reset (power cycle or button press)
- Check Status screen to verify alert is cleared
Troubleshooting Alert Overload
If you see many alerts simultaneously:
- Power issue: Check if equipment lost power (would cause multiple communication errors)
- Wiring issue: Damaged RS-485 cable can affect multiple devices
- System issue: Major event like pump failure can cascade to other equipment
Best Practices
- Keep all alerts enabled for comprehensive monitoring
- Check Status regularly during service visits
- Document recurring alerts for future troubleshooting
- Update customer on any alert conditions
